Our hosts, The Quinns, cordially invite you to their beautiful home in north Baltimore for a live house concert event on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 7 - 10 pm. (Doors at 6:30 pm)

Tickets are offered on a sliding scale of $25-45 (please bring cash for the artists), and we invite you to BYOB and bring a dish to share. Our hosts will also offer light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments.

MEET THE ARTISTS:

BOMBARDIER JONES
As the driving force behind Bombardier Jones, Baltimore musician and record producer Ian Jones is devoted to creating a good feeling on stage and a natural sound in the studio. You may have heard his single “Great Idea” spinning on WTMD lately. A veteran of coffeehouses and rock clubs, Bombardier Jones is “clearly a fan of the British Invasion sound but that is just one element which goes into his mix, bonding at molecular level as it does with west coast psychedelia, post-punk pop sensibilities, cosmic country magic and no shortage of classic, singer-songwriter vibes," according to one reviewer.

The torchy fingerpicking and strumming of his “Can’t Conquer Me” album was followed, in the first month of the pandemic, by the richly layered “Dare To Hope,” which David Franklin of Dancing About Architecture called “a tonic in these dark and divided times, a masterclass in gorgeous, graceful and gentle pop.” (thanks, Dave!) His music has been compared to Elvis Costello, George Harrison and Tom Petty – and here we thought he was just some weird folkie. Or as Vinyl Chapters’ Jamie Parmenter put it, “a songwriter unafraid to let it all hang out.”

SAHFFI LYNNE
Sahffi (they/she) is an international medicine musician, vocal coach, and music meditation guide, offering their music, meditations, and teachings as medicine to illuminate our connection to our own divine inner knowing. With a performance degree from The Peabody Conservatory of Music, a #1 house music song in South Africa, six independently released albums including their 2021 meditation album, “Pulse of Evolution,” a 2015 Individual Artist Award in Solo Performance from the Maryland State Arts Council, plus a 2022 Baker Artist Award nomination, Sahffi sings songs channeled through them with a passion to open and connect hearts around the world. Sahffi is also honored to teach private voice lessons for those around the world ready to release their singing voice and their fears using their own “Vocal Ladder” teaching method in their online vocal studio, “Vocalize Your Soul.”
