In honor of Women’s History Month, the Baltimore National Heritage Area (BNHA), in conjunction with The Peale, will feature a special screening of The Story of Victorine Quille Adams with Dr. Ida E. Jones, which will discuss the life and legacy of prominent Baltimore figure, Victorine Quille Adams (1912-2006).

In this second installment of BNHA’s 2024 “It’s More Than History” lecture series, Dr. Ida E. Jones will share the impact of Adams’ work and dedication to education, activism, and community leadership. This trailblazer was the first African American woman elected to the Baltimore City Council. Presented by The Peale, the last lecture will be hosted for free online on April 12.
