The Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra Visits Havre de Grace!

The Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra’s 101st season continues with a performance at St. John's Episcopal Church in Havre de Grace. The orchestra, under the direction of Interim Director Joel Michael-Schwartz, will perform an eclectic mix of classical music, marches, rags, concert dances, pop tunes and original compositions for the mandolin orchestra.
A National Parks Service National Historic Trail sign at the front of historic Saint John’s Episcopal Church reads:
St. John’s Episcopal Church survived the British attack on Havre de Grace May 3, 1813...the enemy spared the 1809 structure but damaged the interior. According to a newspaper account: 'Finding nothing to steal [the raiders] 'magnanimously' attacked the window[s] with brick bats and stones, and demolished them.
