Improv for Stand-Up Comedy

A Workshop for Emerging Comics
Ever wanted to feel more comfortable on stage when things don’t go as planned? Or turn those unexpected moments into comedy gold? This two-hour improv workshop is for stand-up comics who want to sharpen their instincts, loosen up, and find new material through play.
Taught by sought-after veteran improviser, facilitator and teacher Tashika Campbell, this session brings improv off the stage and into your stand-up toolkit. Through games, scene work, and laughter, you’ll learn how to:
-
Build confidence in unpredictable moments
-
Improve crowd work and audience connection
-
Find fresh jokes through improvisation
-
Practice presence, listening, and bold choices
Whether you’re brand new to comedy or working on your next tight five, this workshop will help you stay ready — so you never have to get ready.
