In Adult Baby Toy, ancient forms of symbol magic from a variety of esoteric traditions and pantheons are merged with the modern, playful vernacular of children’s toys.

"I view art making as a form of intuitive, symbol magic, where the act of making becomes a devotional practice that is both ecstatic, and playful."

Gina Alexandra Denton is a visual artist and performer who has lived, worked, and practiced in Baltimore City since the year 2000. She received her BFA in Fiber Arts from The Maryland Institute College Of Art in 2004. For over fifteen years, her work has spanned a wide range of mediums, and forms from visual arts to performance and theatre.
