The Department of Visual Arts Visiting Artist Program presents a lecture by Aaron James Draplinof the Draplin Design Co. (DDC) of Portland, Oregon. Using scientific proof and state-of-the-art multimedia techniques, “Tall Tales from a Large Man” delivers a sucker punch of a talk that aims to provide bona-fide proof of work, the highs and lows of a ferociously independent existence and a couple of tall tales from his so-called career in the cut-throat world of contemporary graphic design.
