Indie rock band The Goddess Lakshmi brings it's Mayflower Tour to the elegant city of Baltimore. Named for the Hindu goddess of abundance The Goddess Lakshmi cut their teeth playing weekly shows at the rough and tumble Paris Blues bar in Harlem NYC. A confluence of diverse influences; blues, blues rock, blue-grass and reggae with hints of Jazz and German metal infuse their unique sound. The Band has performed throughout The City at venues like The Bitter End, Pianos and Brooklyn hot spots like The Way Stationand The Paper Box. They have made multiple appearances on WHCR in Harlem and have been featured on Radio X in Frankfurt Germany. Led by NYC fringe theater veteran René Calvo, the band promises an evening of tuneful, eclectic and eccentric entertainment.
