AmiciMusic presents "Beethoven's Cello", Parts 2 and 3
AmiciMusic is a new chamber music organization dedicated to performing music in intimate settings and to breaking down barriers between performers and audience. This is truly "chamber" music in a private home where audience sits next to performers, eats and drinks with them, and feels the immediacy and vitality of their playing. Great food and drink is provided. Dr. Weiser also talks about each piece before it is played, pointing out fun facts and things the audience can listen for.
"BEETHOVEN'S CELLO" includes six of Beethoven's great works for piano and cello. Part 2 on Friday night includes his G Minor and C Major Sonatas along with Variations on Magic Flute. Part 3 on Saturday afternoon includes the epic A Major Sonata along with his early Horn Sonata that he also transcribed for cello and some Handel Variations.
Cellist Lawrence Stomberg and pianist Daniel Weiser have both performed around the world, including England, France, Germany, Egypt, Israel, Japan, Thailand, and many more. They bring their world-class talent to aprivate home to showcase the incredible power of this music when heard upclose, as it was meant to be.
Individual concerts are $35pp; Can come to both for $50pp. Includes food and drink
