Color Methods: Powdercoating

Powder coating is an industrial process used to create a hard finish on metal that is tougher than conventional paint. This technique provides the contemporary metalsmith or jeweler a new way to introduce color into their work. This class familiarizes students with the basics of powder coating, including simple DIY setups, multiple applications, finishes, and more. Prerequisite: Intro to Metals + Jewelry or equivalent experience.
