Lynn Bloom, professor emeritus at the University of Connecticut, speaks at McDaniel’s annual Holloway Lecture. Bloom is currently revising “Lives, Liberties, and Pursuits of Happiness: Why True Stories Matter,” a book, she says, is about “writing that people love to read: memoir, essays, food, travel, and medical writing,” which is the basis of her talk.
