The Yiddish Art song repertoire is vast, and although many of the pieces were composed in the early 20th century, they long for even older, simpler days in the Yiddish-speaking communities of Eastern Europe. This program will present works by Lazar Weiner and Maurice Rauch, covering the themes of warmth, survival, family, and love of the Yiddish language.
