Kelly Crum Delaveris, referred to as “the longtime jazz siren of the Columbus music scene,” will be performing pieces from both the great American songbook and Musica Populara Brasileira—the era of Brazilian Jazz from the 60’s and 70s. Delaveris has been singing professionally since the late 70’s, heavily inspired by the works of Antiono Carlos Jobim and Sergio Mendes. She has opened for countless artists and performed with the likes of the Columbus Jazz orchestra and her longtime Columbus-based band Brasilera. She moved to southern Pennsylvania several years ago and has been performing in the area since then. She will be accompanied by a local rhythm section for the performance.
