Come experience the new Chesapeake Arts Center.
As principal and founder of GRIFF Strategic Leadership, Griff Hall helps individuals and organizations identify & accelerate value through leadership growth and strategy design & implementation. He is an experienced educator and professional facilitator, coach, and consultant. His work involves helping individuals and organizations identify direction and explore paths to reaching those goals.
Griff has held three non-profit chief executive positions, is a business and social entrepreneur, and is a faculty member at The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business. His client base spans the public & private business, non-profit, and public sectors.
Much of his work involves aligning organizational strategy with building the right culture. Griff recently led a team that completed research on how high performance cultures successfully undertake transformational change. The surprising findings illuminated ways that organizations typically overlook the very factors that determine the success or failure of change efforts, strategic planning, as well as managing growth.
In a recent project with the Baltimore Metropolitan Council, Griff’s team designed and implemented a community based leadership experience for grassroots and professional leaders from Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. Working with this group before, during, and after Baltimore City’s April 2015 unrest yielded compelling insights about the nature of change in a grassroots environment.
Griff holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University. He lives with his wife and two daughters outside of Annapolis, MD where they enjoy numerous self-propelled water activities.
