MARY CLAIRE CURRAN IN "KISS ME, I'M IRISH"

When Mary Claire Elizabeth Curran’s 3x great grandmother, Roseann Riley, landed all alone in Fells Point at the age of 11 years old—she probably never thought her descendent would be living in Baltimore as a cabaret singer. “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” will be a night of story telling, laughing, revelry and music featuring classics like:
Danny Boy
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral
The Rose of Tralee
The Wild Rover
When Irish Eyes Are Smiling
Cockles and Mussels
The Last Rose of Summer
Who Threw The Overalls in Mistress Murphy’s Chowder (not a classic, but hilarious)
If you enjoy Irish wit and Jameson, you would be remiss to miss this show!
Mary Claire is a Baltimore native whose Irish ancestor Thomas O’Neill left all his money to the building of Cathedral Mary Our Queen and Good Samaritan Hospital. Despite missing out on the O’Neill inheritance, she has done pretty well for herself, making her Carnegie Hall debut (Weill Recital Hall) when she was 25 years old.
"Mary Claire Curran as Janice revealed a voluminous soprano, easily conquering the high tessitura..."
