Returning for its 7th season, Christmas Village in Baltimore will once again transform West Shore Park at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor into an authentic German Christmas market! Starting from Thanksgiving and running until Christmas Eve (November 28th – December 24th, 2019), a large variety of weekday and weekend events designed to please young and old await to be explored! Also, make sure that you don’t miss our Preview Weekend on November 23rd and 24th.

Join us at the Sagamore Spirit Distillery for our Second Annual Holiday Tree Lighting! Enjoy festive live music, complimentary hot cider, family-friendly activities all evening. We will light the tree at 7PM sharp with holiday fun continuing until 9PM! Food and beverages available for purchase from Rye Street Tavern and other vendors. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. This free family-friendly event does not require tickets. We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you!

Poinsettias are the signature holiday flower. No longer is red the main attraction, we have orange, pink, with splashes of white and variegated as well. Throughout the duration of the show, many beautiful poinsettias are available for sale our gift shop is also well- stocked with books, cards, and house plants just in time for the holidays. $5 donation suggested
Be transported to a winter wonderland in this enchanting story of a young boy’s magical friendship with a snowman which comes to life and takes him on a trip to the North Pole. The animated ﬁlm projected with live music performed by the BSO is sure to get you into the holiday spirit!

Christmas Village is celebrating the beloved German American Weekend on December 7thand 8th! German American Clubs of the area will share German culture like Schuhplattler dances, German choir songs and much more with guests! Additionally, to all of these performances, the German American Weekend will feature a German Game contest for the first time ever. Christmas Village’s German Games will cover some well-known German competitions like beer mug lifting (“Bierkrugstemmen”), Bratwurst Eating Contest and a Costume Challenge! The New Wave Singers of Baltimore, Maryland’s Premier GLBTS Chorus, performs music that celebrates all of humanity in its infinite variations. Tim Gillham, Artistic Director, is starting his second year at the helm of the 60+ member chorus. Joining him in his new position as Accompanist is Christopher Schroeder.
New Wave Singers will be presenting two Winter Concerts:
Saturday 7 PM December 7th at Epiphany Episcopal Church 2216 Pot Spring Rd. Timonium, MD 21093, and
Sunday 4 PM December 8th at Grace United Methodist Church 5407 N. Charles St. Baltimore, MD 21210.
As part of Downtown Dollar Days, visit the museum and create a variety of arts and crafts activities in preparation for Hanukkah. Inspired by the current exhibition, Scrap Yard: Innovators of Recycling, crafts will be made using recycled materials. Activities are suitable for all ages and no artistic talent is required.
The Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Mark Linkins, will present a concert of holiday music arranged for mandolin, guitar and woodwinds. The selections range from traditional carols from around the world to tunes from “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Featured performers will be soprano Beatrice Gilbert and clarinet and flute soloists.
Rejoice in the sound of young voices in vibrant song as the three choirs of the Children's Chorus of Maryland, spanning ages 7-18, present their annual holiday concert, featuring a full performance of John Rutter's Dancing Day for choir and harp! CCM's 44th Annual Winter Concert REJOICE! takes place on Sunday, December 8th at 3PM in the beautiful Gordon Center for the Performing Arts in Owings Mills, MD. We cannot wait share this glorious and joyful repertoire with you! Reception to follow the concert. Children under age 5 cannot be admitted due to live recording.

When a tremendous Gilded Age mansion gets fully-adorned with holiday decorations, there’s a lot to take in and see. Please join us for a special winter tour of the Evergreen Museum and Library, which holds 48 rooms, a soaring portico, a Tiffany designed glass canopy, and loads holiday decorations. Led by Baltimore Heritage volunteer Richard Messick, we’ll take in the seasonal surroundings while learning about the mansion’s rich history, including the 1878 purchase of the estate by John Work Garrett, president of the B&O Railroad, for his son T. Harrison Garrett.
This magical adventure and beloved holiday favorite follows a young girl as she travels through a mystical land of sweets at Christmas time. This year’s production features an abbreviated version of choreography from Lisa DeRibere and includes a narrative element, making it perfect for the whole family! $20. The Vienna Boys Choir, renowned as one of the finest vocal ensembles in the world, will fill the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall this holiday season with the angelic charm and pure sounds that have brought crowds to their feet for more than 500 years. Christmas in Vienna showcases these gifted musicians in an extraordinary program featuring Austrian folk songs, classical masterpieces, popular songs and, of course, holiday favorites.
