Social distancing be darned: THE SHOW MUST GO ON... AT HOME! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we will stream Thirsty Thursdays at the Opera (at HOME) on Thursday, June 25th at 7pm on our YouTube channel, FREE and open to all! When we realized that returning to live performances would be delayed longer than we had thought, we asked our artists who had been hired for our regular Thirsty Thursday concert in May to go digital with us, and they all graciously agreed. We have honored our original contracts and have paid them IN FULL for their work.
Join us for a blended discussion and listening party about creativity, process and living as a Baltimore artist with Abdu Ali, facilitated by Savannah Wood. Abdu Ali's latest album, FIYAH!!!, was partly inspired by FIRE!!! a literary magazine made during the Harlem Renassiance created by Langston, Wallace Thurman, Zora, and other iconic black writers.
