The Deer Creek Youth Choir has the privilege of hosting the statewide Young Voices Festival right here in Harford County! This all-day annual festival brings together the top children’s and youth community choirs from across the state for a day full of music making and sharing. Students will have the opportunity to work with acclaimed conductor, Melissa Keylock from the Princeton Girlchoir and American Boychoir. Choirs will perform individually for each other as well as together in a group festival choir under the direction of Melissa Keylock.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities Baltimore presents the 7th Annual Red Shoe Shuffle 5K Run and Walk on Sunday, April 8, 2018, beginning at 9 am. Join us for a celebration of community and love in action unlike any other event in town. This year’s Shuffle Sunday will begin at the Ronald McDonald House at 635 W. Lexington Street where shufflers will wind their way through downtown and the Inner Harbor taking in lots of Baltimore sites before returning to the finish line at the Ronald McDonald House.

Our family workshops engage the community by providing fun and easy, interactive activies. Our volunteers will be there to guide you and assist when needed! Workshops typically run for three hours, but actitivies will not take the full time. Families are encouraged to pay what you can, and drop in at any point within this time perios to make something and take it home!
Have a child age six or under? Visit us for a day filled with activities designed just for them! Enjoy dancing and singing with the Kindersinger: Silly Songs! program. Join us for yoga for little ones during Magical Mats. Build early literacy skills in our Mother Goose on the Loose® program. Learn about – and become part of – a theater production during our interactive theater workshop, Play Within a Play.

Winnie Foster longs for a life outside the control of her domineering mother. While lost in the woods, she happens upon Jesse Tuck, a boy unlike any she’s ever met before. The Tuck family hold a powerful secret, and Winnie must decide whether to return to her life or stay with the Tucks.
World-class musicians from the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Peabody Conservatory volunteer their talents for this concert to increase awareness and support for the hungry. All proceeds from the series benefit the Maryland Food Bank. Audience members are also invited to bring non-perishable food items for donation.
Arts Every Day presents its annual student art exhibition at the Walters Art Museum. The exhibition will showcase over 100 pieces of work from students and teachers in Baltimore City Public Schools. This annual exhibit showcases how teachers a part of AED's Schools Program have integrated visual arts, music, dance, theater, and media across grade levels and subject matter such as Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
The exhibition will be on view April 18th-22nd, 2018 at the Walters Art Museum Sculpture Court. AED will host a reception on April 19th from 5-7pm.
A newly-curated collection by artist legend, Peter Max’s exquisite paintings will be on exhibition and available for acquisition in a presentation at Y:ART Gallery, Baltimore’s premier fine art gallery. This unique and newly curated Collection is a never-before seen Collection of Celebrity portraiture, the Artists’ most Iconic works from six decades, and a tribute to the City of Baltimore. The exhibition opens on April 20, 2018 and runs through April 28, 2018. An uncrating event kicks off the Exhibition on April 20 from 6-8 pm and previews begin April 21.
