Back for the 36th Anniversary season, Columbia Festival of the Arts’ Free LakeFest Weekend is June 16-18, 2023, at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront! This fun and inclusive FREE three-day outdoor festival features a variety of live music and arts performances, Invitational Fine Arts and Crafts Show with more than 50 artists, a Juneteenth celebration and cookout hosted by The 3rd, interactive entertainment for all ages, food trucks, and a wine and beer garden sponsored by the Collective Offshore.
Howard County nonprofit The 3rd, in partnership with the Columbia Festival of the Arts and the Columbia Association, is excited to honor Juneteenth with a day of special events on Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 11am-7pm during the Free LakeFest Weekend. This day-long celebration will feature live music from GRAMMY winner and NEA Jazz Master Delfeayo Marsalis along with sets from JoGo Project and Deborah Bond, a Pop-up cookout from noon to 5pm with barbecue favorites (preordering encouraged), performances from the Wilde Lake High School Step Team (G4L) and B.
