Learn to use a sewing machine at the Govans Branch! You can bring your own or learn on one of the sewing machines available. The new Peabody Jazz Combos series spotlights student performances of jazz classics and original compositions under the direction of Peabody’s all-star jazz faculty, including Warren Wolf, Charenée Wade and Sean Jones, the Richard and Elizabeth Case Chair of Jazz.
This evening's performance will be under the direction of four faculty members Richard Johnson, Charenée Wade, Nasar Abadey and Fran Vielma.

This is a 12-week afternoon class for ages to 9 – 12. Students will focus on building skill, craftsmanship, and discuss technique to build deeper relationships with tools and materials. They will explore texture, color and shape while building technical skills as they create a wide variety of wonderful creations.Each class session will introduce a new technique and present a new, exciting challenge. All works will be created in red earthenware, decorated with vibrant AMACO velvet underglaze and glaze fired to cone 04. Class includes all materials and firing.
Led by Certified Psychodramatist and Certified Systemic Team Coach, Joshua Lee, this event will use action-oriented exercises and frameworks, such as socio-drama (spontaneous enactment of social situations), to explore ways in which we are more alike than different in a unique, fun, and relaxed atmosphere.
Echoes of Nature will be joining us each month for $5 STEAM Sunday workshops. Each workshop will include a visit from one or more of their live animal ambassadors and a fun art activity. Join us for STEAM Sunday! Echoes of Nature will teach us about animals that thrive in cold and snowy climates.
All ages are welcome, but caregivers MUST be present. Each workshop costs $5 per FAMILY, regardless of the number of participants. Space is limited and registration is required.
