Crickets is back in person this fall! Sign up today at www.ccmsings.org. Crickets Music and Play Program, for children ages 4 to 6, engages the body and the mind in joyful music-making. Highly-trained trained teachers gently encourage very young children to explore the voice as their first true instrument through play, games, and movement. We offer small classes limited to 8 children each, and this fall it will run for 10 weeks with Thanksgiving week off.
Walt Disney’s Toy Story was the first entirely computer-generated animation feature film and has become a perennial family favorite. Follow the adventures of Woody, an old-fashioned pull-string cowboy doll, and Buzz Lightyear, an astronaut action figure, as the Orchestra performs the score live. About this event
Poe’s Magic Theatre is conducting ghost tours in the Westminster Burying Grounds at the corner of Greene & Fayette.
Tours will start in the lobby of the hotel. Get there early and have dinner at the LB Tavern before the tour begins. The Burying Grounds are only a 10 minute walk away.
Each tour will start at the corner of Greene St. and Fayette - right by the Poe Grave itself!
Once you reach the Burying Grounds you will learn:
The history of the Burying Grounds
Join us for an evening of live music and movement featuring bandleader, composer, and trumpet player Brandon Woody and choreographer, modern dancer, and teaching artist Asya Shaw. Along with a host of musicians and dancers, Woody and Shaw will perform the original piece Many Rivers, an interdisciplinary collaboration representing healing, new life, and the divinity of the waters that carry us. Through the flow of music and movement, many streams of consciousness and expression exist simultaneously in this performance.
