The Tempest

THE TEMPEST
By William Shakespeare
Directed by Lizzi Albert
Bring a picnic and join us this summer for Shakespeare’s romantic tale of shipwreck, castaways, magic and redemption: The Tempest, performed outdoors in the lovely PFI Historic Park. We’re celebrating our 15th Anniversary season of performing IN-THE-RUINS. The Tempest is a perfect enchantment for a summer evening -- as a date night or as a family outing. While marooned on an island, Prospero studies wizardry. He is the rightful Duke of Milan, but he has been overthrown, and he lives in exile with his young daughter. He wants a better life for her. So he uses his powers to control the island fairies, and to conjure a shipwreck to bring his enemies to his island so he can confront them.
