Auditions for the 2013-14 Season

If you play an orchestral instrument and enjoy the challenge of playing the best of the symphonic repertoire with an inspiring conductor, don't miss the opportunity to audition for the Columbia Orchestra! The orchestra is a volunteer adult community orchestra dedicated to fostering a lifelong appreciation of and participation in classical music. AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
(Lasting no longer than 15 minutes total)
1) Major and minor scales in 2 octaves (or 3 where possible) in keys up to three sharps/flats
2) Two prepared pieces of contrasting nature (orchestral/concert excerpts are acceptable)
3) Auditions may include sight-reading at the discretion of the Auditions Committee
