Join us for a fun, family-friendly event that celebrates the immigrant and refugee communities that make up Baltimore’s diverse cultural landscape. Food, music, student art exhibitions, art vendors, piñata-making, face-painting, and other activities by various partnering refugee groups will be available.
	SCHEDULE
	12-2PM | Food, art, and family activities throughout Creative Alliance
	2-3:30PM | Performances in the theater
	PERFORMANCES
	2PM | Hope Choir of Nations, hosted by Asylee Women Enterprise, is a group of men and women from around the world who sing songs in English, French and local African languages.
	2:20PM | Jóvenes en Acción, a group for teenagers interested in activating the community through dance.
	2:40PM | Mahnoz Jonmahmadova, a classical performer from Tajikistan who presents the traditional dances and multilingual poetry of her cultural heritage.
	3:00PM | Duo WAYTA, a pan-flute, charanga, and guitar multi-instrumental extravaganza interprets traditional Guatemalan songs through the lens of Central and South American folk traditions.
ART by local refugee artists provided by International Refugee Committee, Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) with Refugee Youth Project, and Towson University with Youth Artists and Allies Taking Action in Society (YAAAS!)

	Sughra Hussainy – local Baltimore visual artist originally from Afghanistan

Ven con toda la familia a Creative Alliance y ayúdanos a celebrar las comunidades inmigrantes y refugiados que forman gran parte de la cultura diversa y bonita de Baltimore. ¡Habrá comida, música, exhibiciones de arte por estudiantes, vendedores de arte, talleres de piñatas, pinta-caritas, y otras actividades por nuestros socios organizativos!

PRESENTACIONES

	2:40 PM | Mahnoz Jonmahmadova, una bailarina clásica de Tayikistán que presenta bailes tradicionales y poesía multilingüe de su patrimonio cultural
	3:00 PM |Duo WAYTA, un gran espectáculo de charango, zampoñas, guitarra, ¡y más! Van a presentar música típica de Guatemala interpretada por los estilos musicales de Sudamérica
ARTE por artistas refugiadas locales proporcionado por el Comité Internacional de Rescate, La Universidad Comunitaria de la Ciudad de Baltimore (BCCC) con Proyecto de los Jóvenes Refugiados, y la Universidad de Towson con Youth Artists and Allies Taking Action in Society (¡YAAAS!)
