The Filmmakers Playground aims to make Baltimore the next indie film hub and The Baltimore Film Summit is the LARGEST EVER congregation of Baltimore filmmakers and their works. Support our next generation of filmmakers this Friday to Sunday, May 29-31 at the historic Parkway Theater.

The summit showcases the best Baltimore Filmmakers from the past decade, featuring Baker Awardees, Saul Zaentz fellows, and SXSW winners across narrative, documentary, and animation. It features over 50 Baltimore filmmakers alongside 10 visiting artists, featuring 7 short-film blocks, 4 feature film blocks, and industry panels.
Highlights include the Maryland premiere of "Friday the 69th" featuring Baltimore native Rob Zoppo, hosted by Aaron Henkin of "Out of the Blocks" fame. We also have a special screening of TT the Artist's SXSW film Dark City Beneath the Beat, guest programmed by KJ Mohr of the Maryland Film Fest, and revival screenings of Diner and Night of the Living Dead.
