Rust & Royalty Fashion Exhibition

Rust & Royalty Fashion Exhibition is a community-centred fashion and art exhibition taking place at the historic Light Street Pavilion in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. This free public event brings together Black designers, minority-owned brands, wearable art artists, stylists, and local makers for a curated experience that celebrates sustainable fashion, handcrafted design, and creative entrepreneurship.
The exhibition highlights Baltimore’s vibrant fashion and wearable art community while intentionally drawing attention to the importance of supporting Black-owned and locally owned businesses within the downtown redevelopment landscape. Through curated installations, designer showcases, and a dynamic marketplace, attendees will experience bold design, cultural storytelling, and innovative craftsmanship rooted in Baltimore’s artistic legacy.
Rust & Royalty serves as both a celebration and a platform for visibility, creating space for dialogue around inclusive redevelopment, sustainable arts programming, and equitable economic opportunity for minority entrepreneurs. By activating the pavilion with fashion, art, and community engagement, the event demonstrates how creativity and culture can play a vital role in shaping Baltimore’s future.
Admission is free and open to the public. Community members, city leaders, developers, arts organisations, and supporters of local creativity are encouraged to attend and engage with Baltimore’s reemerging black creative movement and ecosystem.
