Mando for Kids promotes and teaches classical mandolin to young students in the Baltimore area - it’s the only program of its kind in the United States! It was started by a group within the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and continues under the direction of Laura Norris, a Classical Mandolin Society fellow, member of the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra and Baltimore Mandolin Quartet.

That's the idea behind "A Christmas Carol for Edgar Allan Poe." This brand-new play was commissioned by The National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre and written by Zac Pensol -- both past winners of The International Edgar Allan Poe Festival "Saturday Visiter" Award.

In this world premiere by Tuyết Thị Phạm, author of the acclaimed Dinner and Cake and recognized for her powerful writing on the topics of family, culture and identity, comes a new story about a mother and daughter who confront their legacy of love and loss, set against the backdrop of historical trauma.

Pick Your Own Blueberries season at Linvilla Orchards is here! This delicious berry is ripe and ready to be picked from our fields, and we all know nothing is better than a freshly harvested blueberry from Linvilla Orchards. Before you start picking with small children, explain to them how to identify ripe fruit. If you need any help we have knowledgeable staff on hand! Dress comfortably and drink plenty of water.
