Following BCO’s success in Menotti’s The Consul in 2019, we start this season with another of his popular operas. Baba, the medium, is a domineering grifter who uses peoples’ grief to extract money. But in one night, things change dramatically. Her seances are fake, but are her powers real? This production will take place at BCO’s home venue, the Engineers Club of the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, where it is an Artists in Residence.
