For the third installment of the “It’s More Than History” lecture series, join Jon Goldman, Curator for the B&O Railroad Museum. His talk will look at the relationship between the Baltimore Harbor and the B&O’s founding in 1827, as well as the symbiotic relationship between harbor and the B&O Railroad in reinforcing Baltimore’s place in national trade in the 1800s, fueling industrialization in Europe. This lecture is one of three sponsored by the Baltimore National Heritage Area and presented by The Peale. All are presented for free.
