A Night of handwritten gothic tales walked and acted on the grounds of the Historic Rockwood Mansion in Wilm, DE. The haunted story walk is a guided tour that lasts about 90 minutes, through the dark walkways of the estate and gardens. This will be true Victorian & Gothic traditional storytelling at it’s finest, from an era rife with supernatural themes and practices. Also, purchase & sip an adult libation from the Rockwood Speakeasy, and bring it with you on the walk for a scary good time...

This documentary film follows solo performer Siobhán O’Loughlin in the final stretch of a years-long immersive tour in other people's bathtubs. As the world’s capacity to deeply connect becomes increasingly compromised, Siobhán's journey inspires audiences to seek out live experiences that bring us together. Partially recorded in Baltimore during her final local performance in 2019.
In conjunction with our neighbors at the German American Cultural Center of Maryland, we will be screening “Toni Erdmann” at The Peale. This movie is in German and will be played with English subtitles. Coffee and cake will accompany the movie.
“Toni Erdmann” is a 2016 award-winning German-Austrian comedy-drama film directed by Maren Ade. The film tells the story of a complex relationship between a father and daughter, exploring themes of family dynamics, corporate culture, and the search for meaning in life.

A screening of the restored, digitized version of Farida Benlyazid’s 1988 film, A Door to the Sky, followed by a Q&A session with the filmmaker. Her biographer will also be in attendance.
Director, producer, and scriptwriter Farida Benlyazid has been a pioneer in Moroccan cinema and celebrated internationally. A Door to the Sky is one of her most popular films.

This course teaches parents the power of improvisation and the benefits of using flexibility during stressful situations. Taught through the structure of a standard improv curriculum, this parenting workshop is aimed to build parents’ abilities to think on their feet in the midst of chaos, creating positive outcomes and memories for their children.
This workshop is for the adults only, and is open to parents, almost-parents, and anyone who is involved with children in a family or work environment!
Facilitator Bio:
Did you know that Baltimore has its very own local kids’ tv show? Meet the host of Danny Joe’s Tree House and his puppet pals at Port Discovery. Together, we’ll sing songs, dance, and play with big thoughts, ideas and feelings.
This program is geared towards young children and their grownups. It promotes and fosters Social Emotional Learning, S.T.E.A.M. Education and Early Media Literacy.
This story time and puppet show is FREE to attend with museum admission.
