Virtual J: Virtual Fitness Classes
Experience our Virtual J!
Our J buildings may be closed, but our J Team is hard at work creating virtual programming to help keep you and your family engaged and active during this challenging time for our community. Join us as we begin streaming virtual video experiences for group fitness classes, kids programming, a Shabbat community experience for our Early Learning Center families, wellness resources, and more. Stay tuned for more updates and please contact us with ideas or suggestions for what kinds of virtual content you and your family would most like to experience.
Thread (Art Exhibit)
What is thread? Is it just a long, thin strand of cotton, nylon, or other fibers? What is the thread that holds us together? How is thread made? This exhibit explores the answers to these questions and much more. This Call for Artists show features 20+ different artists from around the area and their interpretations of what thread means to them using a variety of mediums. Available in an online catalog format!
BSO Sessions
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra introduces BSO Sessions – a new digital concert series that follows the BSO’s journey in bringing inspirational works of orchestral repertoire to life as its musicians return to the stage. Programs will include beloved masterpieces; music by living composers and composers of color; and hidden treasures in orchestral repertoire, with episodes premiering October 14 at 8 pm and released weekly thereafter.
Dance and Bmore Elder Arts 65ys +
Dance & Bmore classes featuring elders in our Forever Fit & Fun Club! These classes is for those 65 and older to get down and groove with music, movement, and games you can follow along at home!
VIRTUALLY CREATIVE | AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
We’re excited to announce the launch of the “Virtually Creative” after-school program.
The “Virtually Creative” after school program is an extension of our onsite programming that takes place at John Ruhrah Elementary/ Middle and Tench Tilghman Elementary/ Middle. In an effort to continue supporting our schools we are providing afterschool programming online. Each day, students receive homework help and hangout time to connect with friends. They will also have virtual Restorative Practice circles every Friday. Below is a detailed breakdown of the Virtually Creative schedule.

A live online venue for artists to perform & support living expenses, and for the community to connect through live music despite COVID cancellations.
