Join us for a special BMA Violet Hour edition of The Evening Ritual at the BMA. This experience invites guests to disconnect from the algorithm, relax, and engage fully with music in the beautiful setting of the BMA Sculpture Gardens.

Round Time is a striking and soulful aerial performance born of the urgent present from aerialist, Mara Neimanis (Air Heart, Naomi’s Flight, Swing). With performance partner Morgan Mincer, Neimanis creates a duet for two generations of airborne women, bearing aloft audio testimonies from community voices of women of many ages.
Aaron Oldenburg creates artworks using game engines, coding languages, 2D and 3D digital art creation software, and audio sampling. This exhibition is a series of procedural software works, including interactive virtual reality, that deal with memory, climate instability, and bodily de/re-composition. Prints of screenshots taken from them accompany the works.
The Margin is Now the Center: Contested Bodies on Screen is an exploration of Queer, Birthing and Marginalized bodies. This short film/video program, part of Towson University's month-long Summer at The Center Festival, will showcase work from artists and activists who are exploring what it means to be embodied and fully accepting of oneself during a time when marginalized bodies are actively being attacked politically and socially.

Legendary percussionist and bandleader Kahil El'Zabar joins forces with saxophone icon David Murray at An die Musik Live for their 2026 tour, WE BE FREE—a dynamic and deeply expressive program rooted in spiritual jazz improvisation, and the ongoing exploration of freedom through sound.
Having captivated audiences worldwide for over 40 years, they continue to build on their shared legacy as pioneers of Great Black Music, bringing together decades of innovation, global performance history, and cultural impact.
Featuring three floors of interactive exhibits, hands-on experiences, and entertaining programs - Port Discovery Children's Museum is a space for adults and kids to collaborate, be brave, grow creativity, and so much more. Special moments at the museum turn into lasting memories, and it starts with your visit.
The first Friday of the month June through September the museum will extend its hours to 8pm. From 5pm-8pm admission will be at a discounted rate.
