From May 11th - May 29th, 30+ local and international arts and crafts vendors will offer their unique and handmade products at West Shore Park and along the waterfront promenade. This Sunday, St. David's Baltimore commemorates Pride Month with a Recital and Evensong celebrating music of queer composers and queer experiences.

Join us Sunday, June 11 at 4:30 pm for the finale event of the 2022-2023 Music at St. David's concert season, a Recital and Evensong in commemoration of Pride Month. The event begins with a recital by baritone Michael Manganiello and pianist Aaron Thacker, including "Still Running," a song cycle about queer experience and dedicated to the memory of the 49 queer lives lost at the Pulse Nightclub in 2016.

Back for the 36th Anniversary season, Columbia Festival of the Arts’ Free LakeFest Weekend is June 16-18, 2023, at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront! This fun and inclusive FREE three-day outdoor festival features a variety of live music and arts performances, Invitational Fine Arts and Crafts Show with more than 50 artists, a Juneteenth celebration and cookout hosted by The 3rd, interactive entertainment for all ages, food trucks, and a wine and beer garden sponsored by the Collective Offshore.

DuPont Brass is a one-of-a-kind, brass-driven supergroup from the D.C. Area and a 9-piece ensemble consisting of brass, a rhythm section, and vocalists. Through their training in classical and contemporary styles, DuPont Brass has developed a sound they've coined "Eclectic Soul" that mixes varied genres of music, including jazz, hip-hop, and R&B. For more than a decade The Garifuna Collective has pushed the boundaries of their dynamic, centuries-old musical traditions, breaking new ground with performances that show why UNESCO has proclaimed the language, dance, and music of the Garifuna people of Central America as a “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity”. The collective has has been part of the most celebrated Garifuna album of all time, including the critically acclaimed Wátina, recipient of BBC World Music Award, and voted by Amazon as the number one world music album of all time.

Howard County nonprofit The 3rd, in partnership with the Columbia Festival of the Arts and the Columbia Association, is excited to honor Juneteenth with a day of special events on Sunday, June 18, 2023, from 11am-7pm during the Free LakeFest Weekend. This day-long celebration will feature live music from GRAMMY winner and NEA Jazz Master Delfeayo Marsalis along with sets from JoGo Project and Deborah Bond, a Pop-up cookout from noon to 5pm with barbecue favorites (preordering encouraged), performances from the Wilde Lake High School Step Team (G4L) and B.

For Delfeayo Marsalis, music runs in his family, and it’s in his blood! Delfeayo is a GRAMMY award-winning trombonist, composer, and producer. He is “known for his technical excellence, inventive mind, and frequent touches of humor” (Los Angeles Times). Marsalis has toured internationally with jazz icons such as Ray Charles, Art Blakey, Max Roach, Elvin Jones, and Slide Hampton, as well as leading his own group.
