Bmore Broadway Live CASTING African-American Female Leads

Seeking talented African-American female actors with strong singing and movement abilities for lead roles in the upcoming workshop produced by Bmore Broadway Live, working title "Pioneers of Black Broadway." The workshop focuses on characters such as Anita Bush, Regina Anderson, and the Hyers Sisters, who were influential theater directors during the Harlem Renaissance.

Prepare:

  • Song that showcases your vocal and performance skills
  • Plus the choice of either "Summertime" or "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

We look forward to discovering exceptional talent to bring these historical figures to life on stage.

Current Workshop Timeline:

  • Rehearsals: Began January 1st, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday afternoon/evenings
  • Tech week: Saturday - Thursday, February 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd
  • Preview: Friday, February 23rd
  • Performances: Saturday, February 24th and Sunday, February 25th
