JHU Barnstormers Seeks a Musical Director for Spring Musical

The Johns Hopkins University Barnstormers are looking to hire a Musical Director for their Spring 2015 production of COMPANY by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth. This entirely student-run theatre group will perform the show in Swirnow Theater, a state-of-the-art black box space on the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus in Baltimore, MD. Music Director interviews will be conducted February 7 and 8 (30-45 minute interview; phone interview possible depending on circumstances). We plan to hold auditions the weekend of February 13-15 and begin rehearsals immediately afterwards. No rehearsals will be held during Spring Break, March 14-22. The show opens on April 3rd and will run for two consecutive weekends. The salary for the Musical Director is $2,500 with up to a $350 stipend for travel expenses.
