CSC Corps members conceptualize, design and perform 90-minute versions of Shakespeare’s great plays. They have opportunities to attend master classes with CSC teaching artists: acting, vocal skills, stage combat, and more. Gain valuable experience as you rehearse and perform, and greet the public attending CSC’s professional performances in the ruins at the PFI Historic Park in Ellicott City. CSC Corps members observe and support the making of our exciting festival-style outdoor productions, from behind the scenes and in front of the public. When it’s time to produce their own shows, they’ll be ready!

No auditions are required. We are all about the fun of learning together. This is a non-competitive program where students explore Shakespeare’s words, make new friends, learn theatre skills, rehearse together, and then perform on our summer stage before family and friends.

The CSC Corps is open to high school students (rising 9th through 12th graders).
