Port Discovery Children's Museum provides experiences that ignite imagination, inspire learning, and nurture growth through play. We are currently looking for talented, friendly and outgoing Box Office Associates.

This is a part-time position offering about 20-25 hours weekly, and requires availability to work on SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS.

Summary of Position:

Assistant Company Manager

Baltimore Center Stage seeks an Assistant Company Manager to join a dynamic (and often hilarious) artistic team. The ACM collaborates with the Company Manager to support the artistic services function of the organization. This is a full-time, temporary position for the remainder of the 19/20 season (June 15, 2020). The position is not currently filled. Our intention is to have someone in place no later than January 6, 2020.

Partnership Sales Manager

Baltimore Center Stage is seeking a Partnership Sales Manager. The Partnership Sales Manager is responsible for sales to groups of all sizes and affiliations for all of Baltimore Center Stage’s programming. The position is responsible for the cultivating, solicitating, fulfillment, and stewardship of all group related sales, as well as raising awareness of group sales opportunities to new prospects. Candidates with interest and knowledge of theater along with proven sales experience will receive the highest consideration.

Call to Artists: HoCo Open 2020

HoCo Open, the Howard County Arts Council's immensely popular non-juried exhibit showcasing local artistic talent, is open to artists (aged 18 years and older) who live, work, or study in Howard County. Eligible artists are invited to bring one piece of ready-to-hang original artwork completed in the past two years to the Howard County Center for the Arts on January 3 between 4:30 and 6:30pm (snow date: January 6). Artwork will be accepted for the exhibit on a first-come, first-serve basis, one piece per artist, until the gallery is full.

Auditions for 2020 Season at Baltimore Shakespeare Factory

Baltimore Shakespeare Factory is seeking actors for three shows of our 2020 season: King Lear (in Original Shakespearean Pronunciation), Much Ado About Nothing, and All's Well That Ends Well.

Base pay is $400, with additional stipends provided for matinee performances.

The Associate Registrar manages logistics relating to the Walters’ in-house and traveling exhibitions, and incoming and outgoing loans. Collaborates with the Museum’s team of registrars in all aspects of collections care, loans, and object movements, to ensure the safety, maintenance, and documentation for works in the Walters’ collection, on view, in storage, and on loan.

Maryland Art Place -- Spring Internship

MAP offers internships for upper level college students, graduate students and recent graduates. Fall, Spring and Summer Internships available. MAP hours: 11 am-4 pm, Tuesday-Saturday.

Interns are responsible for assisting MAP in a variety of ways, ranging from programming to administration, with opportunities for special projects depending on skills and professional interest. Intern duties include: performing research; assisting with gallery preparation and installation; photo/video documentation, coordinating events, gallery sitting, social media and community outreach.

Manager of Gallery Learning

The Manager of Gallery Learning is responsible for Identifying, training, scheduling and evaluating gallery teachers, specifically the volunteer docents(approximately 70), part-time educators(8) and museum associate(1). S/he identifies program and training needs and employs best practices in adult learning to support these educators in their gallery teaching. S/he reports to the Director of Education.
