Part-Time Ticket Agent


Ticket Agents represent the face of the BSO and are responsible for all aspects of customer service, including but not limited to subscription sales, single ticket sales, exchanges and resolving customer issues by phone, e-mail/web, mail, fax and in person for all BSO venues, including the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and the Music Center at Strathmore. Young Audiences of Maryland (YA) will offer paid summer internships to 35 rising seniors from Baltimore City Public High Schools. This internship program includes: meaningful work experience and a special project through a placement at an arts/cultural institution; behind-the-scenes tours/presentations at arts organizations; and the chance to see/hear/talk about works of art in various arts disciplines (visual art, music, theatre, dance, design, film/video, technology). Students will also receive guidance and support with college applications and build strong career skills.

AAAPI seeks Curatorial Summer Internship

The Arts of Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific Islands (AAAPI) Department is seeking a Summer Intern to assist with departmental projects. This position is largely research-focused. The Intern will work on the BMA's digital database, The Museum System (TMS), to catalog artworks, update object records, and enter notes from scholarly consultant reports. They will have the chance to develop their connoisseurship of non-western art and work hands-on with a one of the country's best collections of African art.
