Reginald F. Lewis Museum Seeks Exhibition Designer

Job Description

The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture seeks a talented Exhibition Designer to design all phases of exhibition production in order to deliver an excellent museum experience for visitors. The ideal candidate will be highly creative and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in museum related exhibit design, implementation and management. Must have a demonstrated ability to manage, produce, improve and repair both interactive and non-interactive exhibits. The Exhibition Designer, who reports to the Associate Curator, will budget and manage the design process from inception to implementation as well as develop and lead internal and external design teams, if any. Works in collaboration with museum staff, especially the Director of Education, Registrar and Collections Manager, Associate Curator, and the Executive Director who functions as the Chief Curator.

Immediate Need for an Experienced Art Installer / Handleri

KRAMER INSTALLATION INC. - Fine Art Services is looking for an Experienced Art Installer / Handler. Full time and part time positions will be considered.

Installing / Packing / Transporting Artwork. This position will be responsible for residential and commercial installations. Looking for someone with a good eye for art placement. Experience installing gallery walls and photo collages a plus.

Seeking program manager for Jubilee Art's Youth In Business Program (YiB). This program cultivates the entrepreneurial leadership skills of high school aged youth by providing hands on experience operating an art-based business. Through the Youth in Business design collective, youth learn how to run a successful business as a team, selling high quality art products achieving cooperative financial sustainability for youth business owners. Youth are supported in leadership development within the program in addition to career and higher education planning support to provide youth long term economic independence.

Actors and Designers needed for "8 Short Plays"
