Reporting to the Director of Collections, this position will implement collection management policies and procedures as defined by the Vice President of Collections & Interpretation and Director of Collections. Our new team member will not only help with registration practices but major campaign and collection initiatives including a large-scale collection move.

Based out of the Baltimore area, we are looking for a detail oriented person as an Art Installer for our growing business. This position’s primary responsibility would be residential installations as well as packing and transporting fine art. Part Time and Full time positions available.

General Summary of the Job:

Associate Registrar

The Associate Registrar manages logistics relating to the Walters’ in-house and traveling exhibitions, and incoming and outgoing loans. Collaborates with the Museum’s team of registrars in all aspects of collections care, loans, and object movements, to ensure the safety, maintenance, and documentation for works in the Walters’ collection, on view, in storage, and on loan.

Baltimore National Heritage Area seeks Part-time Museum Educator

Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine and Hampton National Historic Site
(PART-TIME, TEMPORARY)

This is a temporary position and work will be performed from approximately October 2018 – June 2019.

Hiring and Supervision: Successful candidates for the position of Museum Educator will be hired as members of the Baltimore National Heritage Area under the direction of the Chief of Interpretation of Fort McHenry NM&HS.

Location: Employees will work at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine and Hampton National Historic Site.
