Sweet Charity Production seeks a Costume Designer

Role description: The Costume Designer will design the costumes for the Bmore Broadway Live production of Sweet Charity directed and choreographed by CJay Philip. The Costume Designer will use clothing to communicate time, place, and character, collaborating with the Director, Set Designer, and Lighting Designer to tell the story of the piece.

Horticulture Playwrights Workshop seeks Playwrights

Horticulture Playwrights Workshop seeks playwrights with an as-yet unwritten idea for a full-length play for participation in their 2023-24 cohort.

HPW supports the development of new, full-length plays by playwrights in the Greater Baltimore region for Greater Baltimore audiences by providing the essential safe space, time, and structure for artists to experiment and bring their new plays into the world.

Selected playwrights receive a stipend ($2,000) along with feedback, hands-on support, and readings of their work.

Sisters Freehold seeks non-union performers to collaborate on the world premiere production of Shakill Jamal’s The Code Switch, directed by Raven Lorraine Wilkes with Associate Director Kateri. Rehearsals and performances will be in Baltimore City.
