DESCRIPTION
Shriver Hall Concert Series, “Baltimore’s premiere importer of classical music talent” (The Baltimore Sun), seeks applications for the position of Audience Development & Production Coordinator. This position is responsible for the efficient, smooth, and professional operation of Shriver Hall Concert Series, with duties in event production, publications, marketing, box office, development, community engagement, and administration.

Peabody Institute seeks Bedside Musicians for Sound Rounds Program

Peabody Institute seeks Maryland-based musicians working in diverse genres to join Sound Rounds, a program which brings trained musicians to patients’ bedsides to provide comfort and companionship through music. The Sound Rounds program began as a partnership in 2018 between the Peabody Institute and the Johns Hopkins Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Councils. To date, musicians have worked at the bedside at Johns Hopkins Hospital in East Baltimore.

About the Bridges Program: Bridges is a small non-profit that provides stringed instrument lessons and an orchestral experience to students in Baltimore City Schools. The Development Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage fundraising operations, special campaigns, and planned giving activities to achieve goals. This new management position will be instrumental in achieving the success of a new five-year plan to make the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra a model of a 21st century orchestra. The position reports to the Executive Director & Chief Development Officer.
