Volunteers will support the work of the Board of Directors while building practical skills in nonprofit management, marketing, and development.

2017-18 Shriver Hall Concert Series seeks Junior Board Members

Shriver Hall Concert Series offers students the opportunity to serve as Junior Board Members and learn from the Series Board of Directors, Executive Director, and staff how an organization such as ours functions. By serving alongside Board members, students will be immersed in our organization and culture, will get first-hand contact with Board members and staff, and have the opportunity to be part of a highly functioning organization.

The Maryland Historical Society seeks Volunteer Tour Guides / Docents

The Maryland Historical Society (MdHS), a museum and library in Baltimore, is recruiting volunteer docents to deliver interactive tours and programs for student and adult groups. We are seeking candidates who have an interest in history, enjoy working with the public, and feel comfortable speaking to groups. Training on MdHS collections, exhibitions, tour methodology and themes, and museum policies will be provided. Volunteers are scheduled as needed upon mutual agreement with MdHS staff for the following:

Creative Alliance Seeks Volunteers for Light City Lantern Parade!

Creative Alliance lights up its best monumental lanterns for the Light City Lantern Parade on Friday, March 31!

We are looking for groups of volunteers to carry these AWESOME illuminated floats in our parade! Check-in for volunteers starts at 6:30pm at Rash Field, and we will walk through the crowd around the Inner Harbor. The parade ends at the corner of Eastern Avenue and President Street. The route is approximately 1 mile.

BMA Seeks Matisse Diebenkorn Exhibition Ambassadors

The BMA is seeking enthusiastic Volunteers for the Museum’s upcoming special exhibition, Matisse Diebenkorn (October 23, 2016 – January 29, 2017). Volunteers will assist with welcoming and orienting Visitors to the Museum and to help with on-site promotion of the exhibition.

The Baltimore Museum of Art Seeks Center for People + Art Volunteers

The Baltimore Museum of Art is seeking curious, warm, empathetic, and articulate individuals to act as hosts in the Center for People + Art, slated to open in October of 2015. The 6,000 square foot space includes a cross-collection Project Space featuring a 3-year thematic exhibition; a Community Commons featuring a community table and artwork by a regional artist engaged in participatory practice; and a Studio Space for creative production. Interpreters will play a central role in ensuring that each visitor feels cared for, engaged, and respected in the Center.
