Baltimore Center Stage Internship/Fellowship Program

Baltimore Center Stage, a LORT B & C theater in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking administrative, artistic and production interns for 2019-20 season. Internships offer a weekly stipend, housing is provided (a studio apartment), 2 blocks from theater. The internship is for the full season, generally running from mid-August 2019 to mid-May 2020. Baltimore Center Stage (LORT B) is accepting applicants for the position of Assistant Technical Director. The Assistant Technical Director is a vital part of the scenic operation of Baltimore Center Stage and works as part of a three-person team with the Technical Director and Scene Shop Supervisor to uphold the high standards of efficiency, safety and final products.

Single Carrot Theatre seeks Lead Teaching Artist

Single Carrot Theatre (SCT) is committed to creating enthusiastic 21st-century learners through ensemble-building, collaboration, and theatrical performance. SCT will be working with Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School to implement a new in-school theatre program culminating in three theatrical productions with different age groups toward the end of the school year. SCT is looking for a part-time Lead Teaching Artist (10-15 hours/week) to spearhead this program.

Single Carrot Theatre (SCT) is seeking technical assistants to support the Technical Director in planning and execution of show designs, space set up for rentals, and other support as needed. This position is an independent contractor position on an as needed basis, averaging 5-20 hours a week, depending on SCT’s production calendar and needs.

Seeking - Male & female dancers skilled in Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, and Jazz. Also seeking experienced Djembe drummers for performances and classes.

Auditions- 2-4PM

Check In - 1:30 PM

Prepare
Dancers - Jazz shoes or bare feet
Drummers - comfortable clothes, a Djembe, and small percussive toys if you have them, if not, a drum will be provided.
