Museum Educators

The Walters Art Museum seeks enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our dynamic team of Museum Educators reporting to the Manager of Family Programs. Museum Educators facilitate programs at the museum and off-site, including but not limited to: family festivals, weekly drop-in art activities, birthday parties, scout workshops, early learning programs, interactive family tours, accessibility programs, and studio classes for pre k-12 students.

Summer Arts Camp Instructors - Part Time

The Walters Art Museum is seeking creative and enthusiastic individuals to work in our Education Division as Summer Camp Instructors in Family Programs. Reporting to the Manager of Family Programs, Summer Camp Instructors engage campers in grades 1-2 or grades 3-5 in creative exploration by implementing interactive activities and art projects in museum galleries and studios; collaborate with part-time instructors and other museum staff; supervise groups of 15-20 campers; ensure safe and happy environment; and organize and prepare materials.

Jubilee Arts, Program Coordinator

Schedule: Part-time position, 25 hours a week, Monday-Tuesday 2:45p-7:45pm, Wednesday-Thursday 2:45-5:45pm, remaining hours flexible to accommodate attending community meetings, events and promotional opportunities. Position is $19,500 annually and expected to start with anticipated hire date in early April 2019.

Purpose: To coordinate outreach for all Jubilee Arts programs and run daily operations of Jubilee Arts classes.

- Dance & Bmore Ensemble- Male & female dancers skilled in Contemporary, Modern, Ballet,​ and Jazz.

- Skilled percussionists with great stage presence. Your own djembe a plus but not required.
