Jubilee Art's Youth In Business seeks Program Manager

Seeking program manager for Jubilee Art's Youth In Business Program (YiB). This program cultivates the entrepreneurial leadership skills of high school aged youth by providing hands on experience operating an art-based business. Through the Youth in Business design collective, youth learn how to run a successful business as a team, selling high quality art products achieving cooperative financial sustainability for youth business owners. Youth are supported in leadership development within the program in addition to career and higher education planning support to provide youth long term economic independence.

Summer Job for Local Musicians-Voices of Carmen!

We are hiring talented musicians between the ages of 14 and 21 to perform in the onstage orchestra of our original musical, Voices of Carmen!

Parts still open for violin, trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet, saxophone, and drum set players. The score has an exciting range of classical music from Bizet's Carmen to original contemporary tracks. This opportunity is for local youth to rehearse and perform this summer. as well as to gain job readiness, technical skills, and connections for success in their careers!

Summer Arts Camp Instructors - Part Time

The Walters Art Museum is seeking creative and enthusiastic individuals to work in our Education Division as Summer Camp Instructors in Family Programs. Reporting to the Manager of Family Programs, Summer Camp Instructors engage campers in grades 1-2 or grades 3-5 in creative exploration by implementing interactive activities and art projects in museum galleries and studios; collaborate with part-time instructors and other museum staff; supervise groups of 15-20 campers; ensure safe and happy environment; and organize and prepare materials.

BSF Seeks Actors for 2018-19 Education Tour

The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory is pleased to announce auditions for our 2018/19 educational shows, Shakespeare’s Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The shows are shortened and arranged for three actors to rehearse and perform in rep.

Auditions will be held Monday September 24th and Thursday September 27th from 5pm-8pm.

No teaching experience is necessary. Familiarity with classical texts is preferred. Access to reliable transportation and daytime availability are required.
