ABOUT

Students will meet at Open Works, learning fabrication, entrepreneurship, and marketing skills from instructor Nacho Montiel and MICA sculpture professor Stephen Hendee.

Fall curriculum will be digital-fabrication focused
Students will learn 3D design software
Students will get hands-on experience with laser cutting, 3D printing, textiles, and basic circuit building.
The course culminates in professional development opportunities: Students will make presentations at symposium sponsored by MICA, and a gallery exhibition at Gallery CA. Returning Teen Makers with OW credentials will work with the instructors to develop advanced projects.
