Chesapeake Shakespeare Company seeks Teaching Artists

The Chesapeake Shakespeare Company is accepting resumes for part-time contract positions in our growing residency programs in our Education Department. Applicants should have at least an undergraduate degree in theatre, and skills in acting, directing, text analysis, and movement. Stage combat experience a plus!

School Teaching Artists: during the academic year, one/two-week residencies in several counties. Deliver our predetermined curriculum (6-12) that supports Common Core standards.

Summer Teaching Artists: responsibilities may include week-long half-day camps for grades 4-7 in Howard County, weekend high school intensives at our outdoor home in Howard County, and/or our new month-long Young Women's Academy in Baltimore.
