In the late summer of 1892, Lizzie Borden was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe. Lizzie: The Musical delves into the mysterious mind of Lizzie Borden and speculates on the motivations she may have had: loss of inheritance, history of sexual abuse, overwhelming oppression, madness. Four women create a riveting punk rock score in a concert setting to tell the story of why Lizzie Borden picked up an axe. All is not forgiven. Lizzie: The Musical is an unforgettable, hard rocking depiction of an extreme character from American lore.

Join us for this highly stylized, irreverent political critique which parodies the classic 1930s instructional film of the same title. In classic GTF form, this musical is full of wit, camp, mayhem, and, you got it… madness!
