GBCA
Conceived in 1997 and incorporated in 2001, the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) is a membership and service organization for artists and organizations in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard counties in Maryland. GBCA promotes, convenes, and leverages resources for Baltimore region’s extraordinary arts, culture, history, heritage, and humanities organizations, as well as attractions and individual artists who are all strengthened by working together.
GBCA’s mission is to create equity and opportunity in, through, and for the arts. Whether they are emerging or established, mainstream or underground, grassroots, or institutional, GBCA believes in unifying and strengthening all members of the creative community. As an independent and inclusive voice for the cultural sector, GBCA nurtures and promotes a vibrant, diverse, and sustainable arts and culture community essential to the region’s quality of life.
