Baltimore's Inaugural Reach for the Stars Walkathon
As part of Domestic Violence Awareness month, the community will gather in Patterson Park to walk in solidarity to end domestic violence during the inaugural Reach for the Stars Walkathon on October 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. Domestic violence cases have increased during the pandemic as more people have stayed home and experienced financial hardships, which makes it even more difficult to get help or leave an abusive relationship.

Old St. Paul’s Cemetery Tour: A Peek Behind the Stone Walls
Old St. Paul’s Cemetery’s list of the interred reads like the Who’s Who of the War of 1812 – Samuel Chase, George Armistead, John Eager Howard to name a few. Even Francis Scott Key spent part of his afterlife in the cemetery buried in the Howard crypt until he was moved to Frederick. Founded around 1799, Old St. Paul’s is one of the oldest cemeteries in Baltimore City and is on the registry of National Historic Places. Not regularly open to the public, come with us to peek behind its large stone walls and see the final resting places of those who helped shape this city.

Wolfthicket
This Saturday, October 30th, Le Mondo presents WOLFTHICKET, a new dance piece exploring a simple yet vast question: why do we dance?
During this exploration, WOLFTHICKET hops and skips across time and place, with inspiration drawn from the traditions, rituals, and fantasies of the 'girls games', such as hand clapping games, recess activities, and make-believe. It then evolves into more adult forms of play, like vaudeville and the joyful catharsis of club culture.

Their collaborative program melds the baroque and contemporary, interspersing beloved Bach concertos with compelling new works by Brett Dean, Andrew Norman, and ECCO violinist Michi Wiancko.
BSO Fusion: Skull and Bones
Skull and Bones is a symphonic showcase meets Halloween rave. Classic orchestra showpieces like The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, “Mars” from The Planets, Danse macabre, and the finale of Shostakovich’s 5th Symphony are played in their original form then remixed and combined with electronic beats; layered with vocal stems of Post Malone, Muse, Drake, and Kanye West; and woven into dancehall floor-killers.

BSO Presents Strauss Also sprach Zarathustra
Christoph König leads a dramatic program featuring Strauss’ Also sprach Zarathustra and Clara Schumann’s Piano Concerto. Often overshadowed by her husband, Clara Schumann was an accomplished concert pianist and child prodigy. Pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason, of the prodigiously talented Kanneh-Mason family, presents the BSO premiere of Clara's concerto. Strauss' Also sprach Zarathustra, instantly recognizable from the soundtrack of Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey, concludes the program.
