MFIC 2017 Student Award Application FAQ

The first annual Student Scholarship award program spotlights the creativity of students in Maryland’s film programs, and provide financial assistance and mentoring to the finalists as an incentive to continue making films in the state.

Applicants must be an undergraduate student in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. The applicant’s major shall be a degree program in or related to film making.

Student applicants shall create a short, 2-5 minutes, describing the value of being able to work professionally in the state of Maryland. The short should be submitted to your institution’s film department chair with the attached application no later than June 30th.
